About the customer
Primarc is one of the most trusted names in the Eastern Part of India. They are into multiple businesses like RealEstate, Logistics, Cotton Industries, Mall, etc. They are uplifting the lives of over 9,000 families with more than 23 ongoing, upcoming, and completed projects including, Southwinds, Gangetica, Anukul, Aura, Aangan, Allure, and Astitva. Our projects are spread across approximately 80 lakh square feet in Eastern India.
Problem Statement
- Primarc was using multiple applications such as Customized ERP, Tally and multiple websites for their diversified business
- Managing the on-premises infra was a major challenge for them and several dependencies on connectivity, power data backup, uptime etc.
- Due to COVID 19 lockdown and operating from home was a major challenge for their IT team.
- Primarc was looking to shift the complete on-premises infra to the cloud with secured connectivity so that the users can operate from anywhere.
Solution Deployed by Workmates
- Our AWS certified solution Architects understand the application, dependency, and infra in detail and provided a detailed approach to migrate the infra with minimal downtime. .
- We create the complete infra in AWS Mumbai Region for better latency
- We migrated the completed data using S3 and completed the infra setup
- Open VPN server and web server placed in Public subnet and their mission-critical ERP and accounting application Tally placed in the private subnet.
- ERP application server was mapped under ELB we enabled the SSL certificate and used Route 53 for DNS.
- .NET 2.5, 3.5 AND 4.5 version configured along with IIS
- MS SQL 2016 standard edition configured in EC2 server
- Tally .net version installed in 2 different server
- All the tally users connecting to the tally over VPN
- Enabled a proper backup policy using AMI & Snapshots and Native Database & Code Backups. All the Infra & DB backups are stored in S3. Backups & Recovery are automated using scripts.
- All monitoring is done using AWS CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail is used for recording changes and the logs are kept for 90 days. AWS Systems Manager is used for patch updates
- AWS auto-recovery enabled for the entire EC2 instance.
